This series of Notebooking Central booklets is a response to teachers who asked for Notebook Foldables that:

  • provide graphics to aid comprehension and memory
  • provide duplicable front tabs that prompt student responses on the back of tabs, underneath tabs, and on the notebook page surrounding tabs
  • provide ideas for the use of Notebook Foldables within different content areas

This series has been designed to complement Dinah Zike's Notebook Foldables book and CD, which won a 2011 Teachers' Choice Award.

Templates in this book have been designed to complement the Algebra I curriculum and includes both generic templates to use throughout the year, and templates for very specific topics.

    My time has been reduced in Algebra, so I find the notebook foldables extrememly helpful in getting my students engaged and excited about taking notes.

  2. No Preview of Product just cost me $14.95

    I teach students in Special Education and if I had seen even 3 pages of the product, I would have been able to tell it would not be of value to my students. I would have purchased another similar product by DZ that would better suit my students needs. They need simplicity and clarity and most would have difficulty making connections to the material. Now I don't know if I can afford to go back a purchase a lower level book specifically for my students.

    The foldables specific for Algebra 1 offer a plethora of ideas! All the important Algebra 1 concepts are covered here, along with some foldables useful for review of Geometry and basic math. I will definitely be using this book at least once a week throughout the school year. Thanks, Dinah, for another great product!
