This booklet is thematically organized to support contextual teaching. Photographs and drawings contribute to the graphic-rich templates. This booklet is especially appropriate for primary or ELL/ESL students and encourages student manipulation and extension activities.

In response to teacher requests for content-specific templates to use with Dinah Zike's Notebook Foldables, a 2011 Teachers' Choice Award winner, the Notebooking Central line of products was introduced. Effective vocabulary work recognizes the need to connect words with students' personal associations and to use words and symbols connected by common relationships. This book contains 46 pages of Notebook Foldables templates and Visual Kinesthetic Vocabulary (VKVs), grouped in both semantic and thematic clusters.
