Dinah's Notebook Foldables book, a 2011 Teachers' Choice Award winner, shows teachers and students how to make notebooking and journaling a 3-D process. This Notebooking Central series is presented in response to teachers' requests for specific content-based Foldables. This 46-page book is filled with duplicable templates designed for use in individual student notebooks to support instruction in physical geography and map skills.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase. There are some pages that are so specific that I am not able to use them, and I am disappointed in the lack of response to creating a new page for the five oceans.
NOTE FROM STORE: We now offer a pdf for the 5 Oceans; go to http://www.dinah.com/resources/Templates/fiveoceans_Layout-1.pdf to download your copy. Thank you for your feedback!
Needs updated otherwise great resource.

Similar to foldables in other Social Studies books from Dinah...needs updating - lists 4 oceans and 5 oceans are currently being taught
Note from DMA: we're working on another template for 5 oceans--thanks for the feedback!
Great visuals for all students

The activities are great for ESL students and students who learn through visuals and hands-on activities. Having students create a notebook that they can keep will be something they can refer to in grades beyond, too! And, though I bought the geography book, there are many cut-outs that can be used in science, as well.
